A soft sigh escapes her

as the last leaf falls

into the darkness of Winter;

only the cold remains.

As the sun sets slowly

above the water's edge,

I see the Fall fade away

with a sigh of gemstone leaves;

I feel the icy fingers of Winter

creep over me

as the night air chills

and the dark night falls.

Written In The Stars

Long before our Lives entwined,

we were Written In The Stars;

the Threads of Fate woven through

as Kismet so conspires.

Destiny played her hand

with the Moon upon the Sea,

and Equinox and Solstice met

in the forms of thee and me;

whilst Moonbeams forged our Hearts,

two Souls became as one;

mere Death cannot our Love eclipse,

a Fire brighter than the Sun.

Brightly burns our Ring of Fire,

fueled with Love’s caress,

swirls of Stars embrace us

in Eternal Tenderness.
