Coming Home
Within these walls of stillness,
sliding in and out of sleep,
through darkened rooms
of ancient nightmares,
my dreams carry me;
a gentle pressure deepens,
a mauve reverie,
with care enfolding me
in a slow caress,
softly calling my name.
Coming home.
Just a heartbeat away,
like a sigh of relief,
sinking into my own,
my paradise of you.
