Wandering the aisles,

fingers itching,

reaching spastically,

for this oh that,

gasping in

oohs and ahs,

desiring

supplies,

even the ones

I know not how to use;

so expensive.

at home,

I kneel

to paint,

cramped legs

longing to stretch,

my visions

so clearly defined,

my work

a reflection

of something else entirely;

so mercurial.
