Embers burn on
fiery leaves of death
raging tumbling
hurricaned
echoing
immensity
punching like a boxer
looming forever
through ragged breath
sweatstained
somewhere
breezes blow soft
butterfly kisses
silent wishes
crying
in the smallness of my soul.
